Visiting a new church can be exciting and daunting. Are you going to fit in?  Are you going to know anyone?  Where do you go?
That is why we stand by the three words above. The second one is key here, we believe that everyone has a place at Berean.
Here are some FAQ’s to help you learn about us and know what to expect on Sunday morning.

When does service start?

Our service begins at 9:45 am every Sunday. We meet in the building called “The Garden on Millbrook” our business partner.  Just come through the front doors and you will be greeted by our Welcome Ministry.

What should I expect from the Service?

When you enter our sanctuary you’ll be welcomed by one of our members. We use our app for the online bulletin. You can download it from the App Store or Google Play Store.

Our service begins with a short call to worship and a prayer. Next, we sing, share what’s happening in the church, receive offering, and greet each other.  Please feel free to participate however you feel comfortable.  Our Scripture readings typically come from the English Standard Version as we prepare for the Sermon.

After the sermon, you are welcome to respond in whatever way the Spirit is leading you. You are welcome to come forward for prayer from one of our Ministers, Deacons, or Pastor. If you are called to become a member and join our community, you can come forward at this time, also.

What is the Music like?

Our music is a good mix of Gospel, contemporary, and traditional and is lead by the Praise Team. You are welcome to stand, sit, sing, dance, or shout. Do as you are lead by the Spirit. This is a time for us all to worship the way we are called.

How should I dress?

You can dress however you want. We have a good mix of styles in the congregation. Some of our Deacons prefer to be more formal with suits and ties. Our Ministers tend to dress more casual. The congregation is a mix of both. What we value most is that you come to worship. The goal is for you to feel comfortable and ready to worship.

Is there childcare?

We have a wonderful children’s church program. It is for kids 3 years of age to High School. While we don’t have a nursery attendant, we have a few women in the church that are well trained and certified to help watch your children. Please do not hesitate to ask if you would like someone to watch your kids. Just see the Welcome Ministry or one of our Deacons. They will have name tags on.  Everyone who works with children is required to pass a background check. There will always be two or more adults with the children at any given time.
